St. Timothy's is a community grounded in the living tradition of the Episcopal Church of the United States. We are located in Desoto County, MS and have been serving this area for 40 years. Beginning in a lawnmower repair shop with only five Episcopalians, St. Timothy's bloomed into a loving, giving spiritual well of over 500 people. We average about 180 at Sunday worship.
We believe in one God, known to us through Jesus Christ and the ever present Holy Spirit. We seek to challenge and transform the world, beginning with ourselves, and to celebrate the image of God in every person. We worship in the ancient way, celebrating the Holy Eucharist (The Lord's Supper) and through listening and sharing the Word of God. Our 8:15 AM worship is solemn and quiet while our 10:30 AM worship is festive with beautiful, celebratory music and modern language. Christian formation offerings for all ages begin at 9:30 AM.
